I have been using Idea postpaid connection for more than 3 years now. And main reason behind that is to just keep my existing number!
I must agree the network coverage of IDEA in Maharashtra & Goa is excellent. Or at least not bad than the competetion. However the overall customer service sucks. They want you to visit the CS office every now and then and take weeks or months to process some requests. No doubt why the share price is touching the all time lows.!
I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit for the ISD facility which does not need deposit now.
Yet the bill plans of Idea cellular were the most competitive ones when I researched the same for an additional connection.
If you do not mind slow response to your customer service requests then this would be a good option for you.
Ohh yes. one more thing the Roaming in Mumbai in their own network was not as good as it was earlier on other networks. Hope they improve in mumbai with the network.
