My relationship with Idea has been for 3 years now. Initially I used the 2G data services that were extremely cheap like at 89 I would get 1GB 2G for 1 month. The network coverage is good not as good as Vodafone or Airtel but given the price point, it’s above average. I faced minor call issues initially. There were no imposed Value Added Services running and sudden balance deductions were nil. I am very much satisfied and I never expected Idea to be good contrary to what people say. When I switched to 3G, I was again delighted with the performance. Good 3G speeds and reliable network even in areas where Aircel didn’t fair well. The only problem I faced was when I went to areas having thick walls and vintage structures there was significant network loss.
