IDEA - The network that irritates you to the core

IDEA for sure is the worst service provider in India, No coverage, technology is not up to date.


Common Problems:


1: Cross connections when you call somebody


2: Same SMS will be sent more than 3 to 4 times or not even once


3: Frequent complaint from my callers that whenever they try to call me they are unable to reach me even if I was free and I had range, this causes lot of frustration when something is urgent.


4: Worst customer service possible


5: You will continiously be disturbed by their advertising calls inspite of applying for DND(Do Not Disturb)

I have not been able to talk to their customer care representative for the past 15 days just to solve a simple problem, their lines are always busy, each time I call I hold the call for more then 30 to 40 minutes and still of no use, I get frustrated and then hang the call. Even while writing this review, I am on a call with IDEA and its been 24 minutes by now, but no response from their side. DISGUSTING SERVICE PROVIDER POSSIBLE.


On top of this they charge us to talk to their customer care representatives also, only the beggars of mobile industry can do such a thing, we also have to pay for the time that we wait in the queue when we call their customer care with whom we can never talk even after holding(and paying) the call for more then half an hour.


As I was not able to talk to their customer care people to solve my problem I personally visited the idea service center where the situation was much more pathetic, none of the people there know about anything, they are absolutely dumb with no knowledge whatsoever, infact I had to teach them many things that they didnt know, but the end result was the same, I was asked to call back the customer care as they were not in a position to help me. So, now I have to call the customer care that charges me to talk to them and never pick up the call.


I was holding this number since I did not want to change this for the past 7 years, now I shall be changing it since MNP has been introduced.


I sincerely advice everybody not to go for this DISGUSTING service provider.
