I have been using the!dea Netsetter, rather trying to use it since the last year and a little more than that. The one experience that I always have is that when needed, !dea is sure to fail you!
The only reason for me to buy this product was that I needed to be connected while on travel. However, it is the most pathetic mistake of my life. I generally recharge for the unlimited plan of 600/month and have been doing so right from the time I had this. Thankfully, they increased the recharge life to 2 months instead of the existing 1 month validity for the same price. I was quite fascinated on knowing this. But little did I know that the first recharge after the change in the validity would be like a nightmare for me.
I recharged this on the morning of 11th May from my local vendor and was expecting it to start working within the next couple of hours which is when I would have needed it. After a few hours, when I connected, I was shocked to know that it was still not functioning. I inquired with my vendor in regards to the recharge and he assured me that it was done from his end. I rather believe him that the people at!dea. I then happened to call the Customer Care and was surprised to know that I had to refill another 10 rs worth of talk time. The reason given to me was that since there was not talk time on the card, it was not connecting. This was the 1st time that I was made aware of the fact that 1 needed to have some talk time on the Netsetter card! I never had a single paisa on it and it worked when it felt like.(Cant help it, had to make do with whatever service was available).
With no choice left, I refilled the card with another 10 rs as was told to do by the Customer Care. Again, when I tried connecting, voila, no connection. Another round of calls to the Customer Care and was told that I would need another recharge.What? These CC guys know No head from Tail.especially the CC guys at!dea.Angry and disgusted, I called the CC the final time. This time I was told that all the recharges etc were showing n my account, however, since I was still not getting connected, I should visit the!dea Gallery where they would help me with it.Like the!dea galleries exist on every street corner.
I am left with no choice now.Its going to be my last and final visit to the!dea gallery to see if they can fix this or else I have clearly decided. If the guys at the!dea gallery cant fix it, I am going to break this piece of crap right there and then and shove it up their bloody a&&.
Surprisingly, an actor and personality like Jr. B keeps promoting this.Sirjee, please stop false propaganda.Not at all a good!dea Sirjee!
