I have a Idea 3g netsetter. Recently I recharged it online through credit card, but the balance did not get credited in my net account. So I called customer service to find out the issue. This is what happened:
An extremely long time to get connected to a customer service executive
And while I was waiting, I was subject to a song Im ur honey bunny. Although the song is nice and hummable, I dont find it amusing to hear Idea tell me that its my honey bunny!
Anyways I had chosen english as the language and I get connected to a female executive speaking Telugu..indicates a messed up system
This lady was extremely rude, uncooperative and curt
Anyways I told her my problem - that I had recharged online for Rs. 750 and its not credited. Instead of trying to check, she flatly told me that no such recharge amount EVEN EXISTS!! When I told her that I recharged on the idea website and it was available there, she repeated the same sentence. I repeated and told her that the amount was on the IDEA WEBSITE and that if the amount isnt available, it shouldnt exist on the website!. Rude lady had no answer
I persisted and offered to tell her the Transaction ID that I had got. She refused to take it and bluntly told me that she is transferring my call to a supervisor
After another few minutes Of listening to honey bunny, surprisingly I hear her again, and not a sane senior guy like I was hoping
Rude lady told me that the recharge has not been successful and my money will be credited in my bank account in 7 days. When I asked her how do I recharge now, she just told me to try again. When I asked her should I recharge online again for the same amount, she dint answer my question. Just told me to try again. I asked her why dint it recharge earlier and what if I lose another 750 rs. She had no answer and just told me to Try again and then disconnected the call after a curt thank you
Overall, a very bad experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. Rude lady was talking as if she was doing a favour by listening to me. She was rude, impolite, uncooperative and at the end of the extremely irritating call, I neither got an explanation for what happened and what I should be doing as the next step. Anyways to end the story I got it recharged at a shop. And yes, the Rs. 750 recharge did exist!!!
