I am afraid but I need to say after service from IFB is pathetic..
It has been 4 days since I lodged a complaint and my complaint is yet to be resolved. Moreover even the way their service engineer speaks is quite pathetic. He came the same evening that I had lodged a complaint. He knew what the problem was, but he comes home just with his screw driver. He opens up the panel at the back and tells me that the pump is not working. He later told me that he would call me up next morning and would come with the pump. When I did not receive any call from him by afternoon on the next day, I decided to call him up. I was shocked to hear that I had to call up their Bangalore office and inform them that the pump is not working. I am not sure what his role is.
Anyway, as I was in a hurry to get the problem fixed, I called up the Bangalore office requesting them for a pump. I was surprised to hear that they did not have any stock (not sure what is the problem in having adequate stock). They also informed me that the pump would arrive in 2 days and they would fix it on the 3rd day. When I did not hear anything on the 3rd day, I decided to call their Bangalore office. The answear I received this time around was even more surprising. They said they doubt if the pump is available in Goa either and they are not sure when would they receive it. I never knew the pump was such a big issue.
It seems like customer has no respect and the engineer seems like he is doing a favour by repairing it. I am not sure if the pump is such a big thing that the franchisees does not have stock of it.
I thought it was a good company and hence purchased an IFB product. but now I am made to feel that I have done a mistake by purchasing an IFB product. It seems like the company does not have any regards for the hardships that customers face.
I am absolutely disheartened and I think in future, I should never recommend an IFB product to any of my friends or relatives.
