I have an IFB digital EX, almost 1 yr 9mths old. It broke down last week and is yet to be fixed. The service department is awful - irresponsible, not accountable, not punctual and worst of all, not knowledgeable at all. The first time the service guy told a blatant lie stating the the machine was fine and there was a problem with power supply. After I chased them again, he turned around and said the motor is burnt out. Now the motor and circuit board are changed but the machine is still not working properly.
I wrote an email to the company from their website and the service manager promptly called me. He listened patiently to my problem and promised to send a technician from their office. The next day the person turned up on time as promised. He detected the problem was with the circuit board and replaced it with a new one. Now the machine is working fine.
So, the best thing to do if there is a service issue is to write to the company. Now I am happy with my IFB machine.
