I booked an IFB Digital 7Kg washing machine a few days ago via the internet. The internet order promised and included within the shopping cart a Free Internet IFB Care Gift hamper. The machine was delivered to my place in about 4 days. However, after the delivery, I did not get any intimation from IFB about the installation. I had to call up IFB to remind them about the installation. After that, the installation happened as scheduled.
At installation, the person explained the operation pretty well. What took me by surprise was the cost of the softening unit, the cover, stand etc. which took a neat Rs, 3500/- out of my pocket. The machine operated very well and I have no qualms about the machine itself. However, I still have not gotten the Internet Order gift hamper. I have gotten in touch with the IFB Call center, who promised theyd get back in another 3-4 working days. There is still no word from anyone at IFB Industries.
This is a bit disappointing, considering a brand like IFB should not have any control over what theyve delivered. I was promised my IFB Care gift hamper. Considering the high expense of regular accessories, utilities and maintenance for IFB recommended products for using the washing machine, I believe the value of the gift hamper is also considerable.
So, I fail to understand why the gift hamper was not delivered to me in the first place and secondly, even after letting them know, what is keeping them from sending it to me after 4 days after 3 weeks from delivery and me having gotten in touch with them.
Any explanation? Anyone from IFB listening ?
