I am a customer of IFB since 2010. I have been using front loading washing mashine for so many years. The latest machine, which I bought in 2020, has just gone out of warranty and I had some issue with heavy vibration of the machine.
I raised a ticket on 6th Jan 2025 and the service guy serviced the machine on 7th Jan.
The service charge was 590/- but he also replaced a set of dampers.
He charged me 3250 for a set of Dampers and fastners. I can find the same product on Amazon at 900.
To add to the agony, I checked locally and some private sevice provider said they can do service and get things replaced charging me 1350.
The ticket Id is 1015830603. I just now got an sms as follows:
"Hi, Tkt 1015830603, Service chrg of Rs. 500.00, Acc/Adt of Rs. 0.00 was collected & no spares were replaced. Please call IFB 08069545678 for any query"
Here the charges mentioned are 500 and no parts replaced.
I have 2 Primary concerns
Was this guy geniune as the charges are tremendously high
Why is the sms misleading.
I Am seriously losing faith in IFB and especially the service part of it.
