I bought an IFB Diswasher Zephyr in 2007 and over the last 8 yrs the machine has had 4 major problems and 3 minor problems requiring repairs.
The customer care services are extremely poor in Goa and all the 6 times I have had the same experiences.
.The factory is also located in Goa in a radius of 30 km but any spares take around 4 days to cover that distance.
Then, there is a resting period of another 3-4 days at the local service centre before it is delivered to the customer.
After registration of the complaint through their Helpline, you are assured of a call from the company in 24 hrs but there is no response . Then after 4 days of silence from their end, I have had to call the helpine again 2-3 times( each time there is only assurance but nothing gets done). Then on the 3rd reminder to Helpline no I am given the contact nos of the local service centre.
Local centre will receive the first call but subsequently no calls are answered and .emails to customer services are neither acknowledged nor replied to.
After some half a dozen calls to the service centre at different times of the day, one manages to get through/ one has to call Helpine again.
All said and done, between registering a complaint and getting the machine repaired it takes 10-14 days minimum that too after repeated calls to Helpine and service centre.
The ONLY time IFB bothers about the customer is when they realise yr machine is crossing the warranty period in order to get you to pay for the Anuual Maintenance Contract.
My sincere advice to all Please do not buy anything from IFB.
Does not deserve even one star.
