I own one and using it since last 2 years. In last 2 years I haven’t a single problem with this washing machine.
Wash Quality : I am very happy with its wash quality and the only problem is when Shirt collars are very dirty (special in summer) you need to handle the collars manually may be after taking the shirts from WM. And its acceptable to me.
Usage: Compared to other top loading washing machine this takes very less water for washing. Previously I had top loading washing machine and its water comsumption was very high. Its very easy to use, put your clothes, add detergent and select the nob to required type of wash prog and its ready to ....
Wash duration: The typical (Soak + Wash + Spin dry) complete wash cycle takes anywhere between 2.5 to 3hrs. Thats shud be okay as the washed clothes will be almost 80 % dry. You need to put them for dry may be not more than 2 hrs and in summer 1 hr should be enough. I always 800 rpm. If clothes are very dirty then one can use ’’WATER PLUS’’ option which will give you a very good wash.
TEMP Control : Executive Elite provides HOT water wash option. Even without this option wash quality is good but with this option your electricity bill may increase. Other wise this is one more excellent feature available for you.
MACHINE SOUND: It makes lot of sound specially during spin. If you have washing machine sitting outside like in balcony/utility space than its okay. Otherwise you cann’t imagine to start the washing machine when you are sitting next to it. I heard people saying that IFB WM moves from it place, but I never had such a problem. Ya! Once I observed that thing kept over washing machine were all fall down inclduing the medium sized cotton clothe used to cover it.
WATER SUPPLY: It need continuous water supply. Even if you donot have facility to provide, you can buy the adapters which will be connected to water tap and you can remove the adapter connection once you wash is over.
The only problem with this is that if you adaptor is connected to tap of bath room then your bath room will not be available for use for next 2.5 hrs. And with arrangement you also need to consider that the WM water outlet will be put in bath room and so you see that after very wash you bath room floors will be covered with dirt and detergent.
