I recently bought this machine. Its a well designed machine and very simple to operate. I hardly had any difficulty getting my mom operate it.
The wash cycles is pretty intelligent rather than just working as a rotating drum with a timer. The wash quality has been good as well.
Consumes the lowest quantities of water of all the machines I’ve had so far. That too without using the WSD - water saving device option. So its a very efficient machine in terms of water and soap consumption.
On service and support side.The installation guy was insisting on us buying a washing machine stand costing Rs. 850, saying that it would help in height alignment. This is unnecessary and the washing machine has adjustable legs, which does the job.
Also we have to purchase a soap additive and de-scaling powder from available only with IFB to prevent scaling inside the machine. This is not available in the open market. It is not a very comfortable idea to be dependent on a single brand/vendor.
