I have been using IFB washing machine since last 7 years and the model is IFB Elite Aqua Energie. Has been a fabulous performer all these years not even a single repair or hiccups in its working.
But recently we lost the cap of the coin trap box located at the bottom of the washing machine and we are going through hell for this. We have been harassed and irritated by the service men who are handling my complaint bearing number: 12366893.
It’s just a small cap that we have lost and the service person calling me says entire component has to be replaced and asking us to take an AMC for 2500+ this is really harassment. Since we cannot use the machine without this cap machine is just a junk now.
Cap itself could cost us 40-50 INR and now the service person calls me and tells that this would take another 1-2 months. I hopefully feel the issue would be sorted out and these kinds of complaints would be handled in a proficient way.
I do not have any complaints on IFB products but the service department lags way behind the product quality. Because of this it’s better to stay away from the product since it’s after sales service and spares availability is a nightmare
