I am posting my horror story of dish washer service by IFB. My area is directly managed by IFB; mind you, no franchisee.I lodged a complaint on Sept. 8, 2014. Since I had a horror experience with my washing machine and with the dishwasher in the past, I knew I would have to call them to get the problem fixed.
After several calls and follow ups, their technician came on Sept 10, and told us the circuit board needed replacement, and promised to bring it within a couple of days. After more follow ups, the technician came back on Sept 17, and told us the machine would need to be taken to their service centre to be repaired, and that they would take it the next day morning, after calling us to schedule the pickup. After that no sign of them, no calls.
After repeated calls to them, including to their Karnataka Service Manager, the machine was finally picked up on Sept 25. Of course they think they can dictate the time, and we have to be available at home at their convenience!
After that deafening silence. No news, no information, no updates despite regular follow ups. Their so called managers do not attend customer calls / messages.
As of now, we are in the dark. If anyone can help me with a senior contact at IFB, I will be obliged. I am not likely to buy another product from IFB. That is certain.
