With the problem I had with changing maid-servants, I had to compromise on the way the maids would wash the utensils. Their coming in late would require me to get into washing each dish that I would need. In winter, it was a dreadful thought to have to wash the utensils in the cold water. The other problem of having to be in the house when the maid would come over to wash the utensils was a waste of my time as well. With the dishwasher, I now have freedom to program the washing of my dishes when I want and then have my time free. I usually do so in the nights and leave the machine to do its work. With the Neptune, I was amazed inspite of having read the reviews praising the way dishwashers clean. I had to get one to really appreciate the convenience and the efficiency with which my dishes are cleaned. Kadais and larger vessels which develop a permanent coating have now been made shining and new with the dishwasher. There is no chance for dirt to remain. The utensils are left nice and warm after the wash and there is not a single water stain on them. Glassware shines beautifully and steel spoons lose their dullness and are like new again. Three cheers for Dishwashers and IFB Neptune has lived up to the high praise it gets in reviews so far. Now for a bit on the down side.
The support staff are not very knowledgeable. They have insufficient information to guide you to correct use of the machine. This is true also for the dealer staff who sell you the product. They come up with cock-and-bull stories about what each feature or button is for. So do your homework on the Net based on your requirement and then decide on the machine. Don’t expect much help from the dealers. The staff who install the machine also don’t help with the level of information they have. In fact I was totally disillusioned with the machine in the 1st week after buying it. The food particles were left scattered all over the other dishes at the end of the wash cycle. No matter what we did it was filthy at the end of the wash. The problem was the positioning of the outlet pipe which had to he attached at a height to the back of the machine. This fixed the problem. Overall I would say GO FOR IT !!! It’s really WORTH IT !!
