I still maintain the following things after using the product for 2 yrs. Review wrote by me in 2008 , when the IFB dishwasher was new.
Reading reviews about service of dishwashers was the thing holding me from taking a decision to buy a dishwasher. The reviews were generally very negetive about the service or were too good to be true.
Finally, I purchased one b’coz it was just not possible for my wife to do the daily chores in her busy schedule when her timings were just not matching with the maid servant’s timings.. We thought - jo hoga dekha jayega, let’s buy one.
The machine is not only very useful for working couples, it does not even require a lifestyle change for the common middle class family - (we do not expect it to wash the Kadhai’s / particularly charred utenSils). Its so far working well and my wife is very satisfied with the results of cleaning utensils.
The service engineer who came to us for installation also appeared to be knowledgEable about the machine. Let’s hope that it does not give any troubles later in terms of breakdowns, but so far we are very satisfied with the design of the product.
