I purchased an IFB dishwasher recently. The machine itself when it worked is very easy to use and the dishes are sparklingly clean.
However, in the 8 months that I have owned it, I have used it only for about 30 days. The rest of the days it has been waiting for service folks to install or rectify water inlet issues.
The service center that my call gets routed to, Deepa Enterprises in Bangalore, takes a minimum of 3 days to call me after I raise the issue and find out what the problem is. After that its based on their whims and fancy that I get any kind of support.
My latest complaint was raised on 15th July, I was contacted on 18th July and the issue was closed on 22nd July as "resolved, " although it was not resolved. The service engineer had mentioned that a motherboard needs to be replaced and he will return with the same. However when I called, I was told my issue has been resolved. After "re-opening" my ticket, I am still waiting for a resolution till date(4th Aug., 14)
It is unfortunate that a superb product is saddled with very pathetic service support.
