I bought an IFB digital when the model was launched .All was fine till it worked properly. After four years of regular home wash the drum got cut .The complaint was placed on 1st September and the service person landed on 4th which is a 48 hour response.
Due to wear and tear the drum is cut and has to be replaced.The machine was immediately sent to the service center and the assurance givenwas that it would be repaired in 10 days once the drum arrives from Goa.Today on 2nd October the drum has not arrived and they ask for another 20 days or they would take back my old machine for Rs 4000 and I exchange it with either a digital 5.5 kg or Senator 6kg.
I have been constantly talking to the ifb service team who sound apologetic and give false promises.I bought an IFB machine only for its so called service which on experience I find to be pathetic and disgusting.
