IFB is a promising brand name that deserves Hall of Fame award. Their products & service are aimed to be what they are & then aptly named IFB - India’s Frightening Brand.
I bought IFB Tumble2900 in 1995 & have been on cloud nine since. First & foremost, it gives me the pleasure of having bought a small beechcraft or a helicopter. Or atleast that is what my neighbours believe.
There’s no greater fun in life when you are told that the service contract that you paid for does not cover the part that has just conked off. It covers everything else!!
And when you pay in thousands for a spare part, how many times do you get an opportunity to see that it’s not new? Only IFB service centres can give you that satisfaction.
And I think I was one of the smartest guys around for having religiously renewed the service contract every year with a belief that some day ’Mera bhi din ayega’. Till date!!
Those thinking of buying an IFB machine should consider another big advantage. Felicitation !! MTNL was seriously considering felicitating me for having made loads of calls to IFB. And I thought it was a rumour. You may soon see my photographs splashed on the front page of every daily. Don’t forget to congratulate me then. That should be the day you too SHOULD buy an IFB.
