Lack of Service- IFB

I own an IFB washing machine and paid huge money(close to 40K) and it is not working now. Raised multiple complaints with the IFB Customer care.


No response from them or the service provider. There is a 3 yrs warranty with this product which is OF NO USE.


Lessons Learnt: PLEASE READ REVIEWS ABOUT AFTER PURCHASE CARE and SERVICE prior to putting into such businesses that have no ethics to keep up their promise and commitment.


PLEASE BE COGNIZANT OF THE FACT with IFB’s LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR ANY PRODUCTS YOU PURCHASE WITH THEM.


Whenever you pay for the product that has warranty coverage, you are paying for their service up front. They have the liability to resolve the issue within the stipulated SLA.


IN IFB, please be prepared to a huge frustration and disappointment if you land in a situation to use your WARRANTY.


After multiple escalations and calling the service person directly multiple times, I had one visit from the local Service person and he claimed that the drum has to be replaced.


I had asked him to replace it, but no response from him. After multiple calls, he still claims that the part is not in. I call up customer care and they say the complaint has been escalated and will be addressed the same day.


In fact. I get false promises and commitments from the customer care reps on the date this issue will be fixed. It is pathetic to know that I am not able to talk to someone who has the authority to call the shots.


Since the day I registered the complaint, I have been throttled between customer care and the local service dealer to understand the status. Very frustrated with this experience with IFB.


I have called up the following service persons multiple times and no response.

9884416971 - Rajasekhar (IFB service manager).


9962503741 - Suresh (IFB Service).


There is no reason for the customer to be acting as a middle man between the customer service rep and the local service reps.
