IFB Service sucks

I have been using IFB Senorita Washing machine for the past 3 years and its a good product. Its washing and performance was relatively good. Major problem with IFB is its pathetic service team and irresponsible call centre support. My machine developed a problem of noise and heavy vibrations.


When I have raised a complaint, the service person came for servicing the next day, he just ran the machine dry without any load and told that the washing machine is fine except the level and the problem is resolved. He was keen in selling us IFB’s accessories rather than servicing the machine. But the same problem occured the next day and again when I called the call centre to register the complaint. This time another service person came and tried to solve the problem. Later he mentioned that it is a major problem and a senor service person will come and resolve the issue.


Nobody bothered to call or come for rectifying the problem for more than 10 days. Call centre persons do not have a  proper problem resolution system. 1) They will promise that a senior person will call you back which will never happen 2) They will give us the mobile number of service person or supervisor who will never pick up your call 3) they will promise that the issue will be put on high priority which will be of zero help in resolving the problem.


When you call the local branch office they will again act as if they are concerned in resolving the issue, which they are not. The coordinator will tell you that he has assigned the job to service person and they will visit the house. When you call back again in the evening or the next day the coordinator will act as if he is surprised and will tell that he will call the service person and send him ASAP.


With great difficulty I got the number of one of the service manager and when I called him he told me that he is not the in charge for my residential area and asked me to call back the call centre or the local branch office.


One more Tech. Supervisor, listened to my story and given me a reason that the spare has to be procured from head office and they will promptly resolve the issue the next day. This will go on and on and they have put me in a position of approaching consumer forums, which I am planning to do in a day or two.


Please do not buy IFB Products as their service sucks.
