We bought an IFB washing machine four years, its warranty has just finished. The model is digital 5.5 kg front loading. It broke down as many as 6-8 times.
Last year when there was some problem with drum, they took 45 to 50 days to repair it. Again this time in September there was some problem with a stone. We registered a complaint on 11 Sept.
After inspecting the machine, their mechanic said it will take 15 days, after 20 days their local service manager didn’t even picked up the phone.
After emailing, their service manager from GOA called. But its of no use, till date they have not repaired it, after 45 days. Now we are fed up with their behavior, we exchanged it with another machine. Otherwise also beware of the noise it makes, you can’t talk or watch TV etc while it is running.
