I have a 2 wheeler insurance from IFFCO Tokio. Its my mistake that I didnt do any research else I would have avoided it. I got the insurance when I purchased my Bike.After-Sale service forms an important aspect of any product. And IFFCO tokio fails in this segment. Some of the drawbacks which I experienced:
I do payment online for renewal. I was promised by customer service agent that I would get a hard copy of policy at my address. But I never got it even after multiple follow ups and calls. Luckily there was no need to use it.
I shifted from one state to another and I registered my 2 wheeler in new state. Even after sending multiple mails, calling customer care I didnt get new policy docs for my new registration number.
I am seriously worried that, if this is the level of service they provide for simple queries, Imagine the state when I may need to claim.
PLEASE AVOID INSURANCE FROM IFFCO TOKIO.
