Took more than a month to settle a claim.

Recently had a very bitter experience with IFFCO TOKIO General insurable company and their employees, I had initiated a claim procedure on May-26-13 for some damages done to my Car, claim has been approved and the survey agent informed me that they will dispatch the cheque to my preferred address and the same has been shared via SMS to the person, since then I have nor received the cheque or any update on the same, I called them up and the response was very rude and ignorant, I wanted to escalate and asked for the managers number and the person cuts the call.


As the survey agent (Siddana Gowda) was a very considerate person, has shared the managers number (Ramesh Babu), called him and told about the issues I am facing, with a very cold response this guy just shouts at some person and tells them to resolve my issue and cuts the call.


Now with out any other option I had to take this to the customer care and lodged a complaint against these people but need to see how swiftly it will be resolved.


I beg all you people, do not to take any insurance policies from this company as the ethics are very low and there is no place for any professionalism.


Will add more details on the actions they have took for my problems soon ...
