I used to park my bike near jain temple, which is 2 mins from station and then go to station for college. Six months back, I parked my bike and went to college. When I returned in afternoon, I saw only my helmet kept on another bike and kept on searching my bike but dint find. Called parents then registered a police complaint. Police tried for 10 days and said now its difficult that I could get it back. So contacted insurance company iffco tokio.
They sent a 3rd party agent in 2 days to prepare report. It took 2000 rs. After a month, it was approved. Then for the final report we need a police report with court approval. Police took 4 months to complete it. As expected. Then in 2 months got insurance claim amount in bank.
A company Officer was assigned, to which we used to contact for insurance related query. She was awesome. Friendly, always picked our call, when dint pick, she sent SMS. So great support from her side. But online team is OK. As they take 3-4 days for email reply.
My closed ones said that its difficult to pass claim but this experience made me learn that not always its difficult. Though the police made it difficult.
