IGNOU as university is good as it offers many courses. But the staff at IGNOU never likes to assist any student. they are not at all serious about career of students studying there. During my first semester in BCA there were problems in my examination hall ticket and I had to rush here and there to get it solved but atlast nothing was done. In second semester there are same problem.
The person sitting in student services department is more interested in chewing and spitting tobacco rather than assisting student. There is student grievence redressal form on IGNOU’s website but it is not working since when I joined the university. If you want to take admission it is your choice but be well informed that you are on your luck because even if you do things right there are many chances that IGNOU staff will do something wrong.
I am searching for some political, national platform to address this issue. Please raise voice and try to make the system better.
