I’m currently in my third year studying Psychology at IILM University, Gurugram, and looking back, I honestly feel like this place has shaped me in ways I didn’t expect not just as a student, but as a person.
When I joined, I was passionate but unsure, full of questions about people, the mind, and myself. What IILM Gurugram gave me was more than just lectures or classrooms it gave me space. Space to grow, to speak up, to be heard. The Psychology faculty here is not only well-qualified but genuinely supportive. They don’t just teach they listen, they guide, and they push you to see things differently, more deeply. Some of the most emotionally impactful conversations I’ve had have been with professors after class, and those moments have stayed with me.
There’s a good balance of theory and application. We don’t just read about disorders or therapies we reflect, discuss, and understand them in context. Whether its internships, group projects, or department events, I’ve always felt like my voice mattered. That’s rare.
Campus life at IILM Gurugram is warm and welcoming. It’s not overly crowded, so you actually get to build close bonds with peers, mentors, even staff. It feels like a community, not a crowd. If youre someone who values emotional intelligence, authenticity, and meaningful learning, IILM doesn’t disappoint. This university didn’t just teach me Psychology. It helped me understand myself and that, I think, is the most powerful kind of education.
