Well its good to see so many IIPMites as Members of this website.
Last time I had written a review , a few of you suggested that I should have a look into the institute and write.Weel I didn`t get time to writew as I was bust but any way here`s it .
So here I am writing after I made my sister (presntly she is doing MBA from FORE) write the entrance exams and secure admission in the IIPM. We had to spend our hard earned money on the exam and got a book by the pony tailed genius Chaudhari (even the old books wala is not ready to pay more than 20 rupees for this book)and an examination which was below standards by any means .I think there needs to be lot of improvement done to this institute.
The Delhi and other campus may be okay, but the Ahmedabad campus .Well the less said the better.The whole college is in a single building where the administartion takes over the ground floor.The other floors house small rooms as lecture halls and a nondescript library.
As for laptops and computers there doesn`t seem to be any place left , where one can sit and work..
Well coming to the entrance test.It was nothing but a farce.The plan was simple Lure , lure and lure. Frankly I am still trying to find someone who has flunked the exam, anyway that`s not my point.
The language section was full of grammatical errors.The EQ was atrocious and fully faltu like they say at MTV and then the great interview.
The interviewer was more interested in convincing my sister to join rather than the other way around.
Finally the people who have joined really matter it either makes or breaks the institue. I had a good look around all those who have joined .Sadly these were the people who had no other means or way out .
We decided not to join this institute .For all the IIPMits, individually some of you may be great and good but if this is the way your ahmedabad centre runs then thinking beyond IIM is off , ................ infact forget it.
