I an not a writer nor a philosopher. so what I am going to write is my experience in this IIT-Guwahati fraternity. I too was very sceptic before I joined this institute primarily because of some reviews and misleading articles that I had read. but after coming to IIT-G, my entire perspective has changed. Its true that it is very new and not fully developed but every thing good has a beginning. We have single-seater hostel rooms, guest house and even our classes have shifted to the new academic complex although work is still going on. we are lucky to live in such an environment, hills surrounding our campus and Brahmaputra flowing alongside. its for sure that it is going to be the best IIT when construction is over not because it has the second largest area(285 hectares) but because being the newest, it has the best academic curriculum. The faculty are really interested to teach the students. we have sports facility not only in the campus but also in the city, 2 MBps lease line... I hope that this article will make students more aware before they take the crucial step of choosing the institute .
