Well I did not know that people on MS were so critical of reviews :) anyways I am changing my review about IIT Kanpur and trying to make it informative and crisp! Thanks to all the critics for their positive criticism, hope to improve in future by reading and writing more.
IIT Kanpur has a special spot in my heart because I have spent four formative years of my life in that institute.
The place offers not only offers a top of the line brains to compete and learn with but also great faculty members who are committed to their subject and work par excellence.
The green sprawling campus spread over more than 1 square kilometer has residential, hostel and the academic campuses. The campus is well equipped with lecture halls, state of the art labs including an aerospace laboratory, and clean hostels.
A airstrip, gliding club, an Olympic sized swimming pool and a modern computer center with around 200 workstations are some things that IIT Kanpur can boast of.
Other than studies IIT Kanpur offers a complete opportunity for an overall development of the student. The studies keep you busy for most of the time but if you are good time manager then you can spend you time with things astronomy club, quiz club, dramatics club and also the Bhakti Club but only for those with a slightly theosophical bent of mind.
