I had ordered a wall light for my kids room on 26th September, 2023.The delivery date i.e 27th September, 2023 lapsed with a message that I wasn’t available at my residence. After perpetual calls to customer care I was committed different delivery time slots leading to useless payment to the Electrician as the product did not arrive. On receiving the product it was a mismatch to my decor and hence requested a return by filling the form on IKEA website.
I had presumed IKEA IS A BIG BRAND AND CAN AFFORD RETURN OF PRODUCTS. BUT to my amazement IKEA IS CHARGING FOR RETURN OF PRODUCTS AS THEY CANNOT AFFORD THE RETURN TRANSPORT.
Since my house is under renovation had thought of considering other light options of IKEA. But considering the cost of returning have dropped the idea.....
My sincere request to all the people who are planning to resort to IKEA online pl purchase online from IKEA only and only if there are no options left. Pl do not make IKEA your priority for purchase as this will pinch your pockets big time as they are charging DELIVERY CHARGES+ RETURN CHARGES.
Hope my current experience would help and refrain people from falling in IKEA unending costing.
