My Honest Experience with IKFW (India Kids Fashion Week) Please Read Before You Register!
In September last year, I paid ₹3, 500 to register my child for India Kids Fashion Week (IKFW). At the time of registration, the team clearly stated that if my child was not selected in the audition, the amount would be refunded. I trusted their words but what followed was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
➡ No Updates, No Communication for Months
Despite paying in September, the audition happened 8 months later, in July this year after multiple follow-ups from my side. There was no transparency, no updates, and zero accountability from their team.
➡ Sudden Demands for More Money
When I finally asked for audition results, they replied within 15 days saying my child was selected and now I had to pay ₹13, 000 more for the ramp show. Since I had already paid ₹3, 500, they said I only needed to pay ₹10, 000 as a discounted price.
But this was never mentioned before. They had said that if selected, the ramp walk and snacks would be included in the registration fee. At no point was it mentioned that wed have to pay such a huge amount extra just to walk the ramp.
➡ False Promises, Zero Transparency
IKFW made it sound like a great platform for kids with promises of brand opportunities and exposure. But in reality, it seems like their only goal is to collect money at every stage. Everything is kept vague on purpose. Once you pay, youre stuck.
➡ Refund? They Just Ghost You.
I asked for a refund (as promised initially if not satisfied), but they have completely stopped responding. Calls, messages, emails all ignored.

What they present as a platform for children is, in my honest opinion, a well-packaged money-making setup. They prey on parents emotions, show fake hope, and dont reveal the full picture until its too late.
I lost my money but I hope you dont.
Stay alert. Ask for everything in writing. Or better, avoid it altogether.
