Customer service and corporate governance & ethics(lack of which amounts to fraud and cheating among many other bad things) are worst with this company. If most of you dont know this, this is an ICICI VENTURE SUBSIDIARY, hence, you know what you can expect out of it!
I have been using the ICICI card for now 5 years and accumulated a good number of points and then all of a sudden the points were transferred to this horrible company in Nov08 without any choice. Since then this is the story:
Even after 10-15 formal request and uncountable number of calls to both i-mints and icici bank I did not receive the card yet. Initially they said that the card was returned as the address is not correct or something but in the same address I was getting my icici statement and all other mails. After putting a lot of pressure I got the AWB number but the courier company said there is no such consignment! Later, they started cutting the calls midway! THATS WHERE YOU DOUBT THE INTENTION AND ETHICAL STANDARDS!
I understood that because I have too many points they are playing foul to stop me from redeeming it. So I thought Ill get out of it by claiming all points at one go and placed 2 requests - one for a costly gift and the other one relatively cheap! Now, guess what, the cheap one was delivered in a week but the costly one is still not delivered in a month. I tried to redeem the points from ICICI itself as well but whenever you redeem something costly(>Rs 15k) they would come back saying it is not in stock!
So the point is - keep away from this company and the parent group - ICICI bank. They may woo you a lot initially to get you on board but you will surely face problem when you want to redeem the points! Honestly, I have never seen such inefficient and/or liars in my life and if you deal with them, after sometime you will start feeling depressed!
