The Imperial is a shaddy little restaurant of Koramangala. I was visiting a friend in that area and it was way past lunch time and we were starved. Due to lack of other options we decided to eat at Imperial.
The huge chicken grilled outside was a big put off. I instantly categorized Imperial as another run-of-the-mill restaurant. There was no ambience! It was just some tables and chairs arranged in alignment. We called for some Chicken 65, Chicken Manchurian and Grilled Chicken.
I prepared myself to wait for 15-20 minutes while sipping on some coke and ignoring the décor. The food arrived in a record time of 7 minutes! They must have prepared it earlier in the day and just warmed it up for us.
Recultantly, I took a bite of the Chicken 65 which was not bad at all. Infact the Grilled Chicken was really tasty. The Chicken Manchurian though was a disappointment.
We actually liked the food. When the bill arrived there was actually a smile on face. The bill was minimal. I think I might come back here again, If I am in the vicinity.
