I used to like this restaurant till recently when I visited it for the last time.
It used to serve very good food in economical price range. The restaurant had 2 floors. Now it is running only on the 1st floor. The ambiance is not as great as it used to be. The items are not as economical as it used to be.
The service is worse.
While taking the order, the waiter could not give us proper information about their north Indian thali. We asked for the curries served in the thali. The waiter referred to Dum aaloo along with other dishes. I got interested in the thali because of dum aaloo and ordered it. It was at around 9:30 pm and all the restaurants nearby were about to close. We got the order served after about half an hour.
The thali contained very raw looking one aaloo tomato curry. I asked the waiter about the dum aaloo. He said this aaloo curry is dum aaloo. I refused to believe and talked to the person sitting at the counter(another waiter). He said the waiter is like that only. He doesn’t know the things. That was too bad an attitude of the staff in the restaurant.
We left the place without eating the thali.
