INALSA sleek silver - bad service experience

I bought INALSA sleek silver chopper when my BOSS made blender stopped working for 3 successful year. I bought sleek silver considering its high power motor and sturdy apperance. I bought it for 1500/- INR.


After 7 months of usage - one day I found the blade of sleek silver is melted. I went to Reliance Mart from where I had purchsaed it. They talked about some similar incidents of INALSA and assured me of replacement. But after that next 5 months were like nightmare. Many things happened before I got replaced item.


1) Though item was under warranty I was asked to pay 700/- bucks. Which I avoided paying after many phone calls and verbal fight with INALSA service center people.


2) I had the warranty card but I had lost the bill hence INALSA refused to consider my case in warranty. I got duplicate bill with help of Reliance Mart.


3) When INALSA people got bill + warranty card - they started saying that BLENDER had damaged due to bad usage.


4) Even I needed to threaten INALSA team of going to consumer court.


After 5 months when I got my INALSA stuff back - I learnt from my wife & mom that new replaced model is really working great. The one which I bought and failed in 7 months was really a bad piece.


In overall I want to say that the product might be technically better but its not VALUE FOR MONEY and SERVICE is even worst.


Last but not the least - the BOSS model which stopped working - it got repaired in 50/- bucks by local vendor and it helped us when INALSA stuff was sent for replacement.
