Pros ,cons and my opinion- buy at your own risk

Recently I bought inalsa maxie premia food processor which perfomed so badly that I feel a good and proper review is a must.

Cons first. this machine is proving itself to be a disappointment because.

  1. Dangerous(faulty lid lock) .- food processor jarl lid threw itself in my face while shredding was going on, though the lid was well locked( otherwise motor won’t start) and shredding blade scratched and cracked the processor lid by tilting in wrong angle.(photo attached)

  2. Very cheap quality - weak plastic body it has which will keep cracking here and there even if you handle it like a baby. e.g. within three days food processor jar handle cover cracked just like that!( though service person tried his best to provide new piece which totally mismatched with new machine’s looked and looks hideous. and he warned us to be very careful in future as plastic parts are prone to break and are costly too.

  3. Exaggerated cost- we pay a handsome amount of Rs. 9000 when machine still gives you heartache.

4.  Plastic parts not covered under warranty- so beware all clumsy hands.

  1. Machine body gets hot in dough kneading so intermittently switching off and on is needed.

  2. Citrus juicer attachment inefficient and difficult to operate . altogether very messy and tiring process.

Pros-

  1. Beautiful and compact body. space saver compared to other brands.

  2. Powerful motor

  3. Very  Sharp and good quality steel blades

  4. Chopper grinder mixer and whisking functions okay but this much usage doesn’t justify the cost.

My opinion- though stuck with it right now with unresponsive customer service. I would prefer buying seperate mixer and juicer.

My chefs knife does best chopping the old way period . dough kneading still good the old method though I use kneader sparingly and cautiously when very large quantities to be kneaded ( e.g. for 10 people) still kneading doesn’t justify the cost as mechanical kneaders are available cheap in the market.
