I t is a good movie with nice visuals and and very effective music however it could have done a lot better in terms of story and character depth.When I watched the first Independence day it was very well made and story had a continuity to it.
However in this latest movie which I went to watch I found that movie was lacking in story continuity.Also I was looking for more action and less talking but first half was wasted also I could not feel the energy that was there in the first movie.Jeff Goldbum and Bill pulman characters were completely wasted.At times you get a feeling as to they dont know why they are here.It is a movie strictly for those who will watch any movie which has aliens otherwise I expect more from this franchise.
