Humans Vs Aliens

For a alien freak like me, this is the perfect movie I was waiting for long time and one fine day in 1996 director Roland Emmerich had hit me hard with this movie.

I will not describe this movie in great details for you guys, it has to be felt not read out, but I will share with you my impressions on the movie.

This movie had some incredible natural looking special effects shots, superb portrayal of massive destruction and display of very rare sense of patriotism.

The movie starts with aliens arrival on July 2nd and start attacking humans across major cities of the world, the attack to wipe out human civilization starts.

The fight back begins from the United States (that’s natural) on July 4th (American Independence Day) lead from front by Supreme Commander the President (Bill Pullman), It all starts with nuclear shelling of alien space ships which fails because of protective shield around this space ships coordinated through a giant mother ship, now Jeff Goldblum the genius computer scientist has a master plan to infect the mother ship with computer virus and then on the ground, start the counter attack on the alien space ships as there protective shield dies.

Around this backdrop both our hero’s (Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum) execute this plan perfectly and a worldwide counter attack begins to save the humans from extinction and they do it for all of us.

What I like the most in this movie is the unity depicted among the humans beyond region and religious differences to fight against a common enemy who is ready to wipe out the human civilization with there advanced technology.

I will surely recommend this movie for one and all who are interested in special effects, alien stuff and big fire works.
