After putting India to the top in the world map and admired by every Indian for the economic and technological contribution to India Inc, Mr Narayana Murthy, recently had one to one talk or discussion or arguement or what ever you call it with The Great Deve Gouda and faced accusations that Infosys had illegally grabbed the public land. It is not new that Deve Gouda has been fighting for silly reasons with several great personalities, which made general public not to take him seriously. In my opinion the title “Laaloo of Karnataka” best fits Deve Gouda.
The interesting and most stunning part is the bold and loud statement from Narayana Murthy that Politicians are corrupt and came out with an estimate of illegal payment of $230 billion. It is not a secret that politicians are corrupt due to which poor people are exploited to the extend that they will have to struggle for the whole life for meeting their basic needs. Why this is remarkable, because nobody in recent years commented with harsh words. And I believe this is the right time to highlight the thorns on the way of economic development if India. Also collectively remove all the obstacles whether it is natural or man made, and make the country a better place to live for the people of every class.
So the matter is closed with all these comments? I don’t think so. The new chapter has started. What is that?
One by one the sleeping evils have started waking up. The comments have made several personalities sleepless. The first guy to wake up is Sharad Yadav. What this depicts? People get angry when the truth is told. This is what exactly happening here. The summary of his comment as mentioned below.
“An agitated Sharad Yadav, head of Janata Dal (United), asked Murthy to stay "within limits". He said politicians faced a difficult job in marrying aspirations of a heterogeneous mass of people. "I challenge him to contest one election and see it for himself. On the other hand, I can run a company easily because there you dont have to face people and are free to do what you want to, " he fumed.”

What does this mean? Is he (SY)justifying receiving illegal payments ? I believe any person who has common sense can judge that, by giving this statement he is justifying the corruption. Or saying to NM that “ If you poke you nose in my matters you will be in trouble” in nicer way?
When I read this news from the news websites, I remembered the forgotten story of Sam Pitroda who had torubled time during his time because of “inept” and “corrupt” politicians.
I don’t know whether this will be the repeat of history or beginning of the better India with Transparency, fairness, and accountability. And strongly hope for the latter, like every Indian citizen
