This is in response to the religious debate that has been going on over here. I was really disappointed after reading a review that such thoughts still exist. I was hoping (against hope really) that we the people of our country will be a lot more sensible than to fall in the same trap again set by the politicians and sectarians who live on chaos. The seeds of this trap were laid by the British in their policy of divide and rule and we like idiots still continue on it.
Believe me when I say that religion is becoming irrelevant. For this I will give the example of Europe. I am giving this example because all the Europe was divide over religion (much the same way we are now) at one point of time. Its peak time was during the middle ages when the priest had absolute powers and was the absolute governing body. There was always a tussle between the Kings and the Church for power. From there Europe has come to its present state where religion has almost become powerless. Today there is no real power vested in the clergy. Their power lies in belief.
The decline started with the industrial revolution. It was then that the people got employed in masses. These masses now had less time in useless politics as the more they worked the more they got paid. Gradually as the economy started booming the church started dwindling. The pope who was the absolute authority of all Catholics is just a figurehead now.
Now the Europe and Americas (the so called first worlds) do not have time for religion as they are too busy making money and leading a good life and we like idiots here squabble over petty matters like temples and age old issues that happened centuries ago.
If we want to make a mark in the world scene we need to rise above where we are today and get involved in serious issues. The petty nature of our politicians is not helping our cause. Someone in one of the comments section said that the only person with balls is Balthakrey. Are you serious? Do you have any idea, how much damage people like him have done to our country?
This was just an outburst. What I really want is to see our country as an ideal for others and not a place where it is ?not safe to travel?. I really hope I made some sense.
Earlier I had written a review on criminalization of Lok Sabha. A lot of our ?rulers? are criminals. These are the people who instigate such matters. Are we such dolts that we blindly follow criminals just because he can make fiery speeches? I request my dear countrymen to think. I am sure if they think they will understand the psyche of these people and the reason behind their actions.
Finally, the gist. Leave the religion of others to them. Follow your own life and be ambitious. Let us think constructively and build a nation the world will look up to and leave a legacy behind.
