The three Indian cities I like most

The Three cities in India I like most.

Kolkota- I have been to kolkota many times, and amide of its crowd, chaos, traffic it is still my favorite city. The thing is when you land this city either through plane or train, It looks something your own, every people whether insider or outsider finds everything what he required, instantly. Second thing is the food; you can get all kind of foods and on very reasonable price. People here have plenty of time for discussion, debates, cultural argument and everything that we call Aaddabaji. Kolkota is a land of culture; you may call it the cultural capital of India. People here are obsessed with their past, even in small conversation with the ordinary peoples you may hear the reference of great people, like Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Satyajit Ray, Mahasweta Devi, Sunil Bandhopadhya and many more. You may spend your evenings roaming freely at esplanade, take a walk on Park Street or spend time many cafes.

Dehradun- Dehradun is the gateway to hills in northern India. People sometime call it Devbhoomi or Divine land. I have an old relationship to this city. This is the last of plain in north and paved way to mighty Himalayas. Whenever train halt this station and I come out side the platform, I feel an argue to take deep breathing and meditating with the fresh air. Dehradun is still far from the hustle bustle of cosmopolitan life. It looks beautiful at night, on the north there is a fabulous look of Masoorie hills, probably the queen of hills and on the east mighty Ganges flows with full of vigorous. The restaurants at Rajpur road serves

Quality food. Dehradun has no limit of fresh air and clean water. You may feel a divine feeling, a sense of meditation, and a relief of your soul. If you are Interested in books, you may visit Natraj bookshop, the oldest in Dehradun, where you can purchase many Ruskin bond books and wildlife photographs.

Ahmedabad – I have visited Ahmedabad only three times in my life, but whenever I visit here I fall for its simplicity and honesty of people. People here are really genuine, and they always fulfill their promises. This is the land of Mahatma Gandhi, and you may see Gandhian principles, ethics, in the lifestyle and culture. Most of the time I stayed at Ashram Road, restaurants are nice and clean and serve mostly vegetarian food. I have not seen any of liquor shop on that road. You may visit Sabarmati Ashram can have a walk on the shore of Sabarmati river and could visit numerous temples. This is the city meant for serious business and language is no problem, everybody speaks fluent Hindi.
