This is a review simply based on my personal experiences. It is about making India great. Making India cleaner than what it is now. This will prompt us to work on our self. For all below given points, we are not replying on any person. We are not even relying on Government, so lets take the charge of the action and make India beautiful.
Noise Pollution
Horns, shaadi bands and some work at neighbors are making your sense dumb for some time. Noise pollution is a serious problem faced by the citizens of India.
Recently publicized research by the medical community points that serious physiological and psychological damage caused by this.
Now what we can do to control this? First let’s think about you only. How we are spreading noise pollution? an unnecessary horn, high volume songs, shouting at public place all we can take care of. If someone in our are doing the same, we can at least try to stop that. If not possible, at least we shall not the act.
Let’s make notice pollution to its minimal.
Corruption
Corruption is the matter in which all starts to point figure towards each other. 2nd most obvious act is blame politician.
Lets first see what corruption includes? It includes ’’abuse of authority, bribery, favoritism, extortion, fraud, patronage, theft, deceit, malfeasance and illegality.’’
Now answer me, have been ever involved in any of above act? Mind well, taking the bribe is corruption but at the same time giving the same is also a corruption.
I feel abuse of authority and favoritism is the two most common type of corruption. All get involved in this on a daily basis.
No human can ever be neutral all the time but we shall at least try to be neutral at most of the time. He shall be neutral at his public dealing. By not being neutral in his public acts, he is not only doing wrong with his duty but also killing the faith of other people in the system.
Let’s try to be corruption free at most of the time. You may not gain peace in your personal life; you will end up being more helpful to the nation also.
Garbage and Waste Management
Nearly 30 % of Indians live in Cities & Towns. Each person generates approx. 250 to 700 gms. of garbage per day. That’s make total of 400 Lakh MT per day. In India, collection, segregation, storage, transportation and disposal of solid waste is unscientific and chaotic.
Most of the people comes up with argument - ’’India is dirty.’’ Let me have an answer, have you thrown any garbage on foreign road? That means put garbage at proper place in foreign and you keep it clean. On the other hand, you are spreading garbage around the city and making complaints. Isn’t It ridiculous?
Let’s make resolution, we will not throw garbage anywhere. We will try to keep adjoining place to our house and office clean, irrespective who has thrown the garbage. Let’s go for Clean India - Green India.
Poor traffic - Parking sense
Increasing number of vehicles in the city has not only led to traffic chaos but has also highlighted the poor traffic sense and utter disregard for the fellow citizens. At the same time our parking sense also gone from worse to the worst. Check yourself during the day, how many times you drive wrongly or park the vehicle at wrong place.
For 100 meters, one tries to go wrong side. Without looking at other people, we carelessly overtake others. How many times we park our vehicle at wrong place. Parking in front of a gate of someone and saying - I am coming in 2 minutes. While parking the vehicle do we ever care, how the other person will take his car out? I think we don’t ever bother about anyone. We don’t understand that government gives a driving license but not driving sense.
Lets make a conscious effort to drive and park vehicle safely and nicely. None shall get harassed because of us.
Charity
How many people are thinking of helping others? Have you ever seek any kind of help of others? I don’t think there is any one on this earth who has not taken help of any person. So we shall understand that little bit of our help can turn someone’s day or make his life. Think about the poor and orphan children. None has ever tried to see how they are living.
One shall think about donating 1-2% of his total income of the year. It is never a big amount. But with this, we can make a life of small child. Promote education so they can have better life. One shall also think about the people who are living in Old Age Home. They must have helped some other in building the career of someone. They must have saved someone from getting into gutter. And now for their self, we don’t have any support. Think big, it will help all.
Don’t wait for someone to kick of this movement off. Don’t wait for politicians to take some steps. Whatever we need to do we will do ourself. At least leta collectively make our surrounding better. And this way whole India will be beautiful.
