Indiainfoline.com has celebrated just its 2nd birthday on 11th May 2001 and the feast of information it provides and diversity it caters to, is commendable.
The site has been selected by Forbes, one of worlds leading business publications as one of the top 200 websites in the world (amongst 3000 sites in 150 categories reviewed).Indiainfoline.com, rated in the investment category was the only indian website to feature under any category.
I came across this site just after joining MBA, when I had to search for information for countless presentations and project reports. And never has the site failed to deliver what I needed.
The site covers the gamut of financial information: detailed sector reports, analysis of macroeconomic data, legal and regulatory issues, foreign exchange, mutual funds and news. There are 21 columns, covering topics like the oil, stock and India’s technology industries. Also dozens of local interviews with movers and shakers like tech visionary Chandrababu Naidu, and more than 100 sector reports.
It offers online and offline facilities to investors to apply for mutual funds, fixed deposits, credit cards and other personal finance products. The company is also the leading player in the e-broking space in India under the brand name of 5paisa.com. India Infoline also offers the only co-branded e-card in association with Citibank and MasterCard International for online shopping convenience of Internet users.
However if the site incorporates personalized features as My Yahoo! it will become more useful and handy for use to regular viewers.
Still it is all there and worth visiting.
Its all about money, honey!!!
Happy Viewing.
