Last month I finalized property through India Homes for a developers property in Santacruz East .I finalized this property after almost 8-9 months of search on my own for good developer and location.
I was contacted by India Homes representative and was shown the site in Santacruz East(Nehru road, opp Phatuk College) which I liked due to its location.
Also having heard about the credibility of the Builder/developer I went ahead & booked a flat(2.5bhk) without realizing things to come later on.
During the negotiations I was assured that I will be allocated a stilt parking within the building premises. While the registration process was to be executed it was mentioned on the draft agreement as stilt/open to which I objected that the same to be clarified and the word “open” has to be striked off.
This was discussed at the developers/builders office after I had already paid token money of 11 Lakhs(Eleven lakhs) and 25 Lakhs in cash as consideration money. Things took ugly turn when a senior executive of the developer/builder, instead of addressing my concern literally abused me and misbehaved me in front of indiahomes representative.
I took decision to opt for the property just because it was being promoted by India Homes and that it is backed by best of experienced professionals from the industry. To my amazement this was totally opposite.
From India Homes there was neither a concern that whether my issues and concern were addressed or not, rather once I have paid token so things were taken for granted.
Therefore I feel that dealing with India Homes for property buying is worse than dealing with any street side property broker. It gives a feeling that India Property is least concerned about customer service so it’s better to deal with Street side property dealers who actually ensure that buyer’s interests are protected.
Hence forth I have decided never to recommend any one to do any kind of property dealing/transactions through India Homes.
