The title I have given my review is because I believe https://indiamart.com is not a business portal but a scam.
They have a very convincing sales team who will keep calling you until you don’t buy their service. Think twice before investing your money in this so called PORTAL because you will end up angered and frustrated with the kind of service they provide.
I had registered with Indiamart last year and the biggest mistake I made was of continuing this year. Once your registered with them they design a catalogue in order to promote your brand and then when buyers log on to the website they have the option to send an enquiry through your catalogue itself or then they will post a buy lead. Only once you’ve registered with them will you realize that the kinds of inquiries you get through the catalogue are not all relevant. However the genuine enquiries are the buy leads, that is if a buyer post his lead on the website to source an item they put that lead up for sale i.e. if you want to make any sale through the site you need to buy leads, I don’t get the logic if you are registering with them in order to get business why must one have to spend money on buying leads shouldn’t that be a part of the service.
I urge everyone who is planning to go ahead and register with indiamart please dont; use the same for a CSR activity or use it for search engine optimization.
