Infantry is a unit in the army who are first ones to face the enemy in any war. There are various units in army such as Air Defence, Missiles, Para etc.
India has the largest of the infantry army in the world and they are believed to the best in the world.These guys don’t have vehicles these army guys have to walk all the way into the enemies’ territory and make way for the armored vehicles and the huge tanks etc.
The infantry guys are brave, cunning and they have to be agile all the time because they have to hide themselves and attack the enemies that come in their way.In the Kargil valley when the militants had entered into the India territory it was the infantry who had big roles to play in the hilly mountains and snowy atmosphere in that situation no morden weapon can work because they where placed on the higher area and they could easily track down any person, gun and even the whole ammunition bunker.
But due to the smartness and braveness of the infantry group could capture the higher positions and then they attacked the enemies with various weapons, bombs and then they had the air strike on the enemy.
We need to salute these brave guys who are protecting the nation
