Poor service and congested atmosphere

I have a savings account in Indian bank, Avaniapuram Branch | Madurai. Customer Service is very worst.I had spent one whole day to open the account.It was 10a.m I entered the bank.A large crowd was already there in that small congested room.


I had a big trouble to get the account opening form by following the instructions from 3 counters. After filling it, I had to reenter into the crowd to submit the form with the initial amount paid receipt andID Proofs.I was told to wait for some time for approval from the manager.One hour passed by.I got tired and went to ask the bank employee.He told me to wait as the form is in process.I kept waiting another one hour.I had not been called till then.When I asked the staff, he told me again to wait.I was frustrated.And, I told him that I leave now and come soon after having my lunch.But, he said I should be there when I am called upon.Then, I had no alternative way.I was waiting for long time.At last, I got my account number at 3.30 pm.I was not able to go to office and had to wait until I faint.


Elders were also treated same like me.I am having accounts in other banks like BOI, TNGB and MDCC banks.The processing is not this much difficult in these banks.


In this corona pandemic period, the service of Indian Bank got very worst.All people have to wait outside the bank for many hours.No quick response.Entry machine is always out of service.Pledging gold process takes the whole day.I really hate to go to Indian bank.
