Indian Bank Tyenampet Branch Worst Service, Bad AT

I had Indian Bank salary account from 2007 and had very bad experience since the salary account opening at Teynampet Branch, Chennai. I lost half a day to open salary account, those guys unnecessarily questioning us when we came to open account from Capital market publishers(they had their whole salary account with Indian bank). It was first experience even bank manager behaved us very badly. Finally, we opened account after a long fight as we don’t have any other option to go with another bank as my company had their entire salary account with Indian bank. When I ticked option for cheque book facility, the bank staffs was asking why you need cheque book? .You can withdraw money by using ATM card. They didn’t give me cheque book. Their ATM’s are worse as it always shows out of service or no money in ATM and this will happen in 15 days out of the 30/31 days in a month. I give application for internet banking, they had rejected and saying you need to maintain good amount of money to have internet banking. I don’t understand why they need good balance in salary account that to for internet banking. They didn’t give me option for internet banking. Teynampet Branch was located far away and we need to spent Rs 200 or more for auto charges in Chennai to reach there from Mylaopre and will loss half day to do some transaction at bank. So I thought of moving my salary account to Mylapore branch, they told me you cannot move the existing salary account from one branch to another and for any major changes you must do in home branch. You need to close Teynampet Branch account and need to open a new salary account in mylapore. Finally, I didn’t do anything. I used to withdraw money from my Indian Bank tenyamnet account and deposit in HDFC account. Again, there was hurdle of maximum Rs. 10000/ withdrawal in a day, it forced me to make use of two or three days to withdraw money and deposit in HDFC account as my all online transactions are carried out through HDFC. My ATM card got blocked and they asked me to come to branch and give written request. It taken two weeks to give a new card with extra cost. Finally, because of bad ATM service of Indian Bank, I complained to HR and moved my salary account to HDFC bank in 2012, as I had a salary account in HDFC with my previous company, I was marinating some minimum balance and online banking. I had very bad experience with Indian Bank and they will take out our precious time and money. They don’t know behave well(Indian Bank Teynampet Branch).
