I have an Savings account and loan account in Indian Bank Dombivli Branch for past 3 yrs. The main reason I went for them that time was to take a home loan. Our Builder was offering loans from 2-3 banks and one of the mwas Indian Bank.
I was not knowing about the bank before opening the account, also was bit worried about the service while opening. But while taking the home loan, they offered us a really great service. (May be you will think its only as we have taken the loan, but I don’t seem that will be the only reason.).
The staff there is very friendly and cooperative. Actually speaking its hard to find in the nationalized banks. I am going to lot of other Nationalized Banks in Pune, but believe me the way they treat the customer, you won’t even treat the stray dog (especially SBI…).
Further more, it’s not only loan, but also while doing other banking transactions, FD opening, etc. they offered me best service. I really don’t remember that I have spent more than 15-20 mins in Bank in last 2 yrs. Some of the things I like of the Banks are (Pro’s):Good supportive Staff, which will help you very nicely. Bank staff is very polite. They value customer’s time. Charges are minimum compared to other banks.
Some of the con’s (improvement required)Online Banking. Its not that gr8. You wont able to do anything rather than seeing ur account balance. No facility to open FD online like other Banks. No customer support on email/internet. You have to visit branch for that. But overall I am very satisfied with the Banks and I will truly recommend you.
